Hello,

and welcome to my academic portfolio page!

(Tap my nose for the menu)

As a double major of Multimedia and Psychology I try to keep a light-hearted attitude towards life. Studies show that humor is a powerful and useful stress, anxiety, and pain reliever (Michel 2017) that might just help us live longer(Rodriguez 2016). Last and foremost (yea, I just made that up), it should be noted that this site and its contents are a direct reflection of my personality and sense of humor--lots of correlations, but not usually causation. One might succinctly suggest that my interest in humor has been in a longitudinal research design locked in my head for many years now. Remember: a good pun is worth it's reword. Having said that, just because I'm laughing doesn't mean I always know when it is time to be serious....you may have to let me know.

The menus above should be fairly self-explanatory as to page content, but I'm going to describe them just for my benefit, so I don't forget:

  • The résumé page houses a copy of my current resume and academic standings (± a couple months).
  • The research page lists some of my more outstanding professional writings and research thus far.
  • The design page is inclusive of content relating more directly to design principles--graphic design, web design, audio, linguistics, programming, etc.
  • The media page is intended for the creative stuff that isn't graphical or textual.
  • The contact page is a place to get in touch with me.

I hope you enjoy your visit and choose to join me in extending life through some humor.
